A Legacy of Service

Fox Valley Buick GMC is one of several Fox Valley Auto Group dealerships owned by Emir C. Abinion, a Philippines native who launched his career in the automotive industry after graduating from North Park University in Chicago. Emir started selling cars at Golf Mill Ford in 1985, where he met Shakeel Omar; the two immediately became friends but eventually parted ways as Emir opened Landmark Ford in Niles and Shakeel opened a pre-owned dealership. The friends spent the next 16 years fostering their respective careers.

During this time, Emir hired Frank Butarnu to help at Landmark Ford, recognizing Frank's knack for sales and his leadership skills. Their friendship quickly blossomed, inspiring Emir to take his dream to the next level. Teaming up with his friends, Shakeel and Frank, Emir launched the Fox Valley Auto Group in 2006 with a simple goal: to treat customers to a new dealership experience and foster a vibrant community dedicated to serving others. Joining the family in 2011, Fox Valley Buick GMC is honored to fulfill that promise and continue an incredible legacy of service and dedication.
